A discovery for me. A pleasant blend of many musical styles that work well together. The result is both surprisingly modern and old-school at the same time.

Mixing hip-hop, electro, drum & bass, and British underground music is a treat for the ears, and a welcome change from what you usually hear in these walls. The vibraphone adds a lightness to music that isn’t always so light.

I arrived for the second set and stayed for the third with great pleasure. Now curious to hear what he does in the studio to see how it translates, but I’m sure the live experience is necessarily different from the recordings.

A few artists joined during the concert, but they are not credited on the Duc’s page. I tried to note their names but I’m not entirely sure of what I heard. A shame their names weren’t added to the concert page, even after the fact.
